Day 329/365
As it is presently observed, Memorial Day feels like a 3-day binge of drinking, rib cook-offs, furniture and shoe sales. My opinion matters very little in the vast expanse of the internet, but I would like to show my support for a firm date (May 30th, as proposed) in the hope that it would help to draw attention towards remembrance and not merely a bookend to a 3-day weekend.
